PJ Harlow Wellness, Inc. is a 100% virtual, IICRC Certified, Holistic Mold Consultancy & Home Health Practice founded by PJ and Peter Harlow. We are the very first company to pioneer the role/position of Holistic Mold Consulting.
PJ & Peter Harlow are married in both business & life. The Harlow’s have a unique & unparalleled merger of certifications, education, experience and expertise that combines vital concepts & fundamental components of home health, environmental science, microbiology, building science, holistic health & functional medicine.
What do we do?
Through our virtual consulting, we work globally to support & advocate for our niche clientele, teaching them how to heal & detoxify their sick, water-damaged & often mold contaminated homes. Our role is to fill in the gaps in the home-health timeline that have, up until now, left hundreds of thousands of families subject to misdirection & misinformation, industry corruption, financial exploitation, emotional manipulation, remediation failure, indoor cross-contamination, and the inability to advocate for themselves and actually create a healthy home. PJ Harlow Wellness Inc. is highly recommended by physicians, practitioners, naturopaths, nutritionists, therapists, and coaches across the globe.
Position Overview:
Our CEO & Founder’s life is constantly evolving, growing & fast paced -- her VA will be comfortable jumping right into that environment. The ideal person must be extremely trustworthy, is eager to learn, can think critically and must be inspired to advance in this specific role. The outcome of that inspiration will reflect in doing whatever is needed to help our CEO grow the company, and move closer to our overall mission.
The candidate must be one step ahead at all times, amazing & innovating regarding all things tech, execution and organization, and is willing to do challenging but rewarding work. You will not need training in these areas. You're resourceful, agile and self-directed. Not to mention, you are lovely to work with.
This is an extremely rare, extraordinary opportunity, and an intimate senior role within the company that has long-term, full time potential within 6-12 months if the candidate is the right fit. This role will likely involve heavy onboarding to acclimate with our methods, and sync inline with PJ’s cadence, which we are willing to make the investment. We’re not looking for someone who watches the clock & waits to be given a list of tasks to complete each day or for anyone who isn’t ready to make a move in their career with room for growth and longevity. The successful aspirant in this role will be passionate about optimizing the CEO’s productivity and her focus, while eliminating timely tasks, so she can contribute her strengths to the operations, progression and growth of the company. This role is extremely TECH HEAVY. We are expecting YOU to be able to bring ideas, innovation & automation to the table to bring down the load of PJ’s daily, weekly, monthly responsibilities.
Contract Requirements:
The candidate will be required to sign a contract under a probationary basis, in addition to an exclusive NDA/IPA (Confidential Non-Disclosure Agreement & Intellectual Property Agreement) and a NCA (Non-Compete Agreement) since the VA’s relationship with the CEO will allow the candidate to be privy to trade secrets, proprietary insider knowledge, our CEO’s & COO’s book of business, company referrals and exclusive education & information not otherwise known to the general public. *If you are interested in becoming a holistic mold consultant, do not apply. This position is entirely different and will not progress into a consulting role.
Position Hours:
This role will start out part time and advance to fulltime within a year.
P/T position = 20hrs per week T, W, T with occasional work on weekends & evenings.
F/T position = 40hrs per week M - F with occasional work on weekends & evenings.
Remote Requirements:
As a part time to full time remote position, you can work from anywhere in the United States during our EST (Eastern Standard Time) business hours. We would love someone who lives within a few hours of DE/MD/DC/VA/PA/NJ/NY however, it’s not a requirement. The VA will primarily be virtual, however as we grow, travel may become part of the role as our CEO’s role matures. This is still up in the air, but not out of the question. The VA will need to be comfortable with change and be flexible. Flexibility is also a benefit that we provide, since we understand family, children, life and other roles you have outside of work as well.
We primarily communicate with phone, email, Zoom, Loom, Slack and other project management tools. This role requires that you have your own home-office where you can work undisturbed with no background noise. You must already have access to the internet, a laptop, printer, and a phone with video & social media capabilities. Additional equipment for media will be furnished by employer.
What you’ll be doing:
Automation & Tech Wizard: This candidate has a deep passion & robust experience w/all things tech. CEO will expect candidate to create streamlined processes to automate any possible areas warranting improvement. This part is unwavering, whoever fills the role must be tech savvy.
Content Creation: Is capable of creating high-quality, professionally written digital copy & content (including graphics) for our website, blog & social channels, optimized for SEO/SEM to drive engagement, lead generation & sales. Can create PDF documents & workbooks, infographics, presentations, workbooks, course content mockups, templates..
Copywriting/Email Template Design: You: know how to keep people reading content, can virtually engage, convert & close customers, and wow with artistic imagery. You understand the elements of compelling copywriting, headlines, calls to action, SEO, branding & professional tone, what not to write & email template design.
Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities:
Email Marketing & Automation: Within 3-6 months our VA will be comfortable:
Creating email marketing for the brand using software like: ActiveCampaign, MailChimp, ConvertKit, Kajabi, Keap, Zapier or other similar tools. (Experience in all software is not a requirement, these are examples)
Scheduling Email Broadcasts
Segmenting Contacts/List Creation
Setting up accounts, creating opt-in forms, setting up autoresponders and sequences, landing pages, creating newsletters, scheduling campaigns, segmenting lists.
Gatekeeper: Manage & prioritize email on behalf of the CEO, helping her respond to important or time sensitive emails in a timely manner & keeping CEO & COO focused on priorities, rerouting & delegating incoming issues as needed. Handling assigned communications on behalf of the CEO (e.g. Calls, Emails, Social Media, Collabs, Meeting Follow-Up, Etc.)
Graphic Creation: for blogs, email and social media campaigns in Photoshop or Canva, based on templates & style guidelines.
Scheduling: Even though our booking is all self serve & this will be a rare responsibility, the VA will be capable of handle heavy scheduling, re-scheduling, CEO’s & COO’s BUSY Calendars - while independently balancing practice boundaries, complex priorities & sensitivity towards our client base.
Social Media Campaigns & Mock Template Creation: Our VA is a social media superstar--
Has an eye for creating scroll stopping visual content that meets the CEO’s approved aesthetic, taste & design aspirations.
Demonstrated ability to write social media copy in a given brand voice
Familiarity with digital design tools (Canva or Adobe CS) are a must!
VA MUST have experience in copywriting, creating buzzworthy captions, relevant content, call to action, landing pages, closers, visually stimulating fonts & graphics that are on par with our aesthetic.
Must be able to create based from the verbal/visual inspo from CEO & COO both quickly & efficiently, with expectation of creating alone (w/technical knowledge provided by CEO & w/approval) after 6 months
VA is expected to create batch video/image content for reels, posts & compelling educational stories to help provide inspiration, hope & education.
Designer’s Eye: EVA will be responsible for the collection of batch imagery that represents our brand/identity for future content creation, as well as provide custom video/photographic imagery relative to our social media campaigns, reels (video) and posts that are original & align with the existing company aesthetic.
Personal Admin: Completing a variety of personal and professional admin assignments including, but not limited to: booking personal appointments, conducting research projects, coordinating travel, making purchases, expense reporting, spreadsheet and document creation, reviewing documents for accuracy, completing forms on CEO’s behalf.
Phone Communications: Communicating on the CEO’s behalf both internally and externally; Acting as the CEO’s proxy in dealings with vendors and in other situations as directed.
Professional Speaking: Liaising with vendors and third parties (companies, contractors, affiliations, partnerships, influencers, accountants, lawyers, etc.)
Timesaver & Task Eliminator: Manage day-to-day administrative tasks for the CEO. The VA can identify, minimize or eliminate timely day to day tasks from our CEO’s plate so she can focus on the next phase of our company evolution.

5+ Yrs Experience as a VA or PA however…

Technical Skill Requirements:
Apple & Mac experience a must; G Suite, Canva & Instagram (Expert Level)
VA must be able to create & work comfortably with Email Automation, Landing Page Creation, SEO, Email Design, Campaign Management, Copywriting, Email Deliverability, Slide Creation, and Cross-Platform Integration; Social Media Campaigns & Mock Template Creation
